Frisco, Texas, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, is one of the fastest growing communities in the United States.  In 2000, the population of Frisco was about 34,000 people and has grown now to just over 225,000 with an expected buildout population of 350,000.

The City of Frisco is seeking a Professional Engineer to perform professional traffic engineering work as listed in the job description.  The candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of twelve transportation professionals in the areas of transportation planning, operations, construction, and safety.  The candidate needs to be able to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment with many challenging projects.  They need to be capable of delivering quality work and excellent customer service to our residents.  The candidate needs to have excellent written and oral communication skills to work with all City Departments, outside agencies, and members of the public.
