The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the maximum payout potential is 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

Accountable for all aspects of supplier administration to ensure that site operations (Site in New Bern, NC) receives quality parts.
Responsibilities may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following
Travel to suppliers to perform audits, conduct workshops, problem solve, and determine risk
Monitor supplier performance – both regional and site
Work closely with Product Quality, Engineering, Production, and other departments to find root cause of production exceptions related to supplier quality and develop solutions
Clarify supplier caused issues
Resolve supplier caused issues
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to non-conformities
Assist in creating supplier receiving inspection criteria in SAP
Dimensional support ( or receiving inspection and FPI approval)
Line return (zero hour failure) analysis
Regular communication with all suppliers for returned parts, product non conformities, improvement projects and new part implementation
Cooperates with assembly and production and groups as necessary
Lead supplier quality related projects and drive to completion
Perform all other duties as assigned
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and be prompt in meeting deadlines
Knowledge of ISO, FMEA, and SPC
Familiarity with all Microsoft products. Proficient in Excel, SAP, and Power BI
Shanin Red X certification preferred
ASQ CQE certification preferred
Four year degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials or Quality Engineering - Required
