The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Horticultural Crops Production and Genetic Improvement Research Unit seeks a Horticulturist (Computational)/Agricultural Engineer/Computer Scientist (GS-0437/0890/1550-12/13). The salary for this position is $79,363 - $122,683 per year plus benefits. The scientist in this position will design and implement sensor technology that leads to or enhances automation of vineyard tasks and activities and will develop predictive models and actionable information for various vineyard parameters to improve automation and precision management in viticulture.
